This year’s theme emphasizes how literature can transcend geographical and political boundaries, fostering connections across diverse traditions and values despite the global challenges of today. It underscores literature’s unique power in uniting cultures and promoting dialogue.

India made a significant impact at the forum, represented by two leading figures from Sahitya Akademi: Sri Madhav Kaushik, its President, and Dr. K. Sreenivasarao, the Secretary.
