Assam Electronics Development Corporation Limited (AMTRON) has released a notification for engaging skilled IT professionals on a contractual basis for the Assam Unified Portal (AUP) Project under the Department of Information Technology, Government of Assam. The engagement is purely contractual for an initial period of eleven (11) months, extendable annually up to three (3) years based on performance.

2. Backend Developer / Sr. Backend Developer

Domicile Preference will be given to candidates with Assam domicile.

Period of Engagement The engagement is purely on a contract basis for eleven (11) months initially, subject to performance evaluation, and extendable annually up to three (3) years based on performance. Selected candidates will be placed under the AUP Project, Department of Information Technology, Government of Assam, under the administrative control of AMTRON.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process through downloadable call letters.

• For posts under combined designations (Frontend Developer / Sr. Frontend Developer, Backend Developer / Sr. Backend Developer, CMS Developer / Sr. CMS Developer, and Database Administrator / Sr. Database Administrator), the selection process shall comprise a Technical/Practical Assessment in addition to the Viva-Voce.
• For the posts of Content Manager and Graphic Designer, the selection process shall comprise a Viva-Voce along with a review of portfolio/work samples.

Final selection will be based on performance in the Technical/Practical Assessment and Viva-Voce (as applicable), educational qualification, and relevant work experience.
