IOCL offers two nursing programmes at its Digboi facilities. B.Sc Nursing is conducted through Assam Oil College of Nursing, while GNM is offered through Assam Oil School of Nursing.

Eligibility Criteria
B.Sc Nursing
Candidates applying for B.Sc Nursing must have passed Higher Secondary or 10+2 Science or an equivalent examination from a recognized board, council or university. English must be one of the subjects.
General category candidates must have at least 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates belonging to SC, ST(P) or ST(H) categories require at least 40% aggregate marks.
Candidates must also have the required CEE 2026 roll number and marks obtained in the examination, as specified in the admission notification.
GNM
Candidates applying for GNM must satisfy the prescribed educational requirements. The main eligibility options include:
- Passed 10+2 with English and obtained at least 40% marks.
- Passed 10+2 with English and 40% marks in a recognized vocational ANM course.
- Passed 10+2 with English and 40% marks in a recognized Health Care Science vocational stream.

Selected candidates will also receive free hostel accommodation, medical attention at AOD Hospital and uniforms. Candidates are required to stay in the nursing college hostel during the course.
Internship After Course Completion
After completing the course, selected candidates will be required to work as interns for one year at AOD Hospital or another IOCL hospital. The internship period may be extended by up to two additional years at IOCL’s discretion.
