Assam Rifles Recruitment Eligibility
The age limit for most posts is 18 to 23 years as on 1 July 2026. However, candidates applying for Warrant Officer Draughtsman, Operation Theatre Technician and Physiotherapist posts can have an age between 18 and 25 years, subject to the recruitment rules.

Educational Qualification

Technical Rifleman posts generally require Class 10 pass with ITI training or a relevant two- or three-year diploma. Posts such as Recovery Vehicle Mechanic also require an appropriate driving licence.
The Draughtsman post requires 10+2 along with a three-year Diploma in Architectural Assistantship. Operation Theatre Technician and Physiotherapist posts require 10+2, the relevant diploma and at least one year of work experience in the specified field.
For the Mason post, candidates need to be Class 10 pass and must qualify in the trade test along with the required work-experience undertaking or self-certification.
Application Fee
Candidates applying for Group C posts are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 100 through the prescribed online payment method. The fee is to be deposited into the SBI account specified in the official recruitment notification.
Candidates belonging to SC, ST and Ex-Servicemen categories are exempted from paying the application fee. The fee, once paid, will not be refunded or adjusted against any other expense.
