Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for Land Record Assistant Recruitment 2026 must fulfil the prescribed educational, age and computer proficiency requirements.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as on 1 January 2026. Age relaxation will be provided to eligible reserved categories according to applicable Government rules.
The date of birth will be verified using the Class X or Class XII examination Admit Card, Pass Certificate or Mark Sheet issued by a recognized Central or State Board/Council.
RCCC Qualification
Candidates must have successfully completed the Recorders Certificate Class Course (RCCC) Training from the Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati.
Candidates must have been declared proficient in the mandated examination in both Survey and Settlement subjects through an official result declared by the Director of Land Records & Surveys etc., Assam, before the specified government notification dated 13 August 2026.
Computer Proficiency
Applicants must have basic computer proficiency and the following minimum typing speed:

Selection Process

Computer Skill Test
The skill test will carry 20 marks and will be practical in nature. It will assess the candidate’s ability in Assamese or Bengali Unicode typing, basic computer operations, document preparation and formatting, data entry, file handling and printing.
