Mangaluru Airport ASQ Award 2025 has brought global recognition to Mangaluru International Airport after it was selected among six airports worldwide in the ‘Best Airport at Arrivals’ category. The award is presented by Airports Council International World, one of the leading organisations representing airports across the world.

This achievement marks the second consecutive year the airport has received this honour, after also winning the same arrivals category award in 2024. The recognition highlights the airport’s continuous efforts to improve passenger experience and service quality.

The ASQ Awards are considered one of the aviation industry’s most trusted measures of passenger satisfaction. These awards are based on real-time feedback from travellers collected through independent surveys conducted by ACI World.

The ‘Best Airport at Arrivals’ category evaluates the complete arrival journey of passengers. Several important factors are assessed during the evaluation process, including immigration services, baggage delivery speed, cleanliness of terminals, signage and directions inside the airport, and overall comfort for travellers.

Management and Operational Improvements

The airport is managed by Adani Airport Holdings Limited, which has implemented several initiatives to improve passenger services. These include infrastructure upgrades, digital systems for smoother processing, and improved coordination with government agencies operating inside the airport.

These improvements have helped make the arrival experience faster and more convenient for passengers travelling through Mangaluru.

Global Award Ceremony Details

In 2025, around 100 airports worldwide have been recognised under different categories of the ASQ Awards, with 195 awards set to be presented in total.

The official award ceremony will take place on September 2, 2026, in Istanbul during the ACI World Airport Experience Summit. The summit will be held from August 31 to September 4, 2026, bringing together aviation experts, airport authorities, and industry leaders to discuss ways to improve passenger experience and airport operations.
