Eligibility Criteria of Kamrup Gaon Pradhan Recruitment

Candidates must fulfill all the following conditions to be eligible for the post of Gaon Pradhan:

Age Limit The candidate should be a minimum of 30 years of age as on 01/01/2026.

Nationality & Residency The candidate should be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the area (village) in respect of which he/she seeks appointment.

Property Ownership The candidate should have land or immovable property in his/her name in the area in which he/she intends to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan.

Children Norm The candidate should not have more than 2 (two) living children from a single or multiple partner. A self-affidavit declaring this must be submitted.

Government Employee Status The candidate should not be a government employee.

Political Affiliation The candidate should not be a member of any political party.

Educational Qualification The candidate must have passed the 10th standard (Matriculation) from a recognized institution or board.

Physical Fitness The candidate should be physically fit and of sound mind.

Insolvency Status The candidate should not have been declared as an insolvent or a defaulter in payment of Government dues.

• Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC)
• Self-declaration stating that he/she does not belong to any political party and is not a government employee
• Bakijai clearance certificate
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
