The Story of Dr. Bezbarua

The story centres on Dr. A. S. Bezbarua, a hardworking doctor who completes his studies in England and returns to serve people in Assam. He decides to establish his own laboratory and medical facility near Dibrugarh. His goal is to use his medical knowledge to help people in his homeland.

Dr. Bezbarua’s life takes a tragic turn when his young son, Moti, disappears. The incident happens while his childhood friend Lalit Duwara, a tea plantation owner, is visiting the doctor’s laboratory with his family. The sudden disappearance deeply affects Dr. Bezbarua. He blames himself for what happened and gradually falls under the influence of alcohol.

The situation becomes even more dangerous when a group of criminals captures Dr. Bezbarua one night. The gang takes control of his laboratory and hospital. The criminals disguise themselves as the doctor and other medical professionals, using the institution for their own dishonest activities.

Meanwhile, Lalit Duwara’s wife struggles emotionally after losing her son. She later travels to Dibrugarh to meet Dr. Bezbarua, unaware that the people she encounters are impostors. During their journey back, the family discovers a young boy sitting in the back of their car. The name Pradeep is engraved on the boy’s hand, and the Duwara family decides to adopt him.

As the boy grows older, Pradeep becomes a doctor and eventually returns to Dibrugarh. During his visit, he discovers the truth about the criminal gang and the real Dr. Bezbarua. He confronts the criminals, defeats them, and rescues the doctor.

The story reaches an emotional turning point when Dr. Bezbarua discovers that Pradeep is actually his missing son, Moti. The film brings together suspense, family separation, and the search for truth in an engaging thriller narrative.
