1. IT Assistant
Number of Posts: 1
Essential Qualification
Candidates should have a B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Geoinformatics or another relevant allied discipline from a recognized university or institution.
Applicants should also have proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Good communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work in a team, are required.
Desirable Qualification
A candidate with an M.Tech. or equivalent master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Geoinformatics or a related discipline may receive preference. At least one year of professional IT-related experience is desirable.
Experience in externally funded projects supported by organizations such as the Asian Development Bank, World Bank or other multilateral or bilateral agencies will also be considered desirable.
2. Accounts Assistant
Number of Posts: 2
Essential Qualification
Candidates must have a graduate degree in Commerce or Finance from a recognized university with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Applicants should have knowledge of Tally ERP 9.0 and be proficient in Tally, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Good interpersonal and communication skills are also required.
Desirable Qualification
Knowledge of the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) is desirable. Candidates with at least one year of experience in a similar position in a government, semi-government or reputed organization may receive preference.
Experience in externally aided projects such as ADB or World Bank-funded projects is also desirable.
3. Field Assistant
Number of Posts: 9
Essential Qualification
Candidates should possess a graduate degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university or institution.
Applicants must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Fluency in English, Hindi and Assamese is required. Candidates should also have good English report-writing skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Desirable Experience
At least one year of field experience is desirable, particularly in census surveys, agricultural and forest surveys, training coordination and public meetings involving district administration or government offices.
Experience in externally financed projects, workshops, seminars and livelihood activities connected with agriculture, agroforestry and allied sectors will be an advantage. Candidates belonging to the project areas may receive preference.
