Eligibility Criteria of UPSC Engineering Services Examination
Nationality:
A candidate must be either:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Educational Qualification:
A candidate must have obtained a degree in Engineering from a recognized University or Institution. Candidates appearing in their final year of engineering are also eligible.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years as on 1st January 2026.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
