Engineering Officer Posts
There are 8 Engineering Officer Grade 1 vacancies, including seven posts in Electrical Engineering and one post in Civil Engineering.
Applicants for these positions must have a First Class Bachelor’s degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognised university. A valid GATE score from 2024, 2025 or 2026 is required for the Engineering Officer posts.
The pay scale for Engineering Officer Grade 1 is Level 7, Rs. 44,900–1,42,400.
Engineering Assistant and Scientific Assistant
CPRI has announced 10 Engineering Assistant vacancies in Electrical Engineering and one in Mechanical Engineering. Candidates must hold a First Class three-year Diploma in the relevant discipline and have five years of relevant experience.
The recruitment also includes two Scientific Assistant posts. Candidates applying for these positions need a First Class B.Sc. degree in Chemistry and five years of relevant experience.
Both Engineering Assistant and Scientific Assistant posts carry Level 6 pay of Rs. 35,400–1,12,400.
Technician and Technical Attendant Posts
Candidates with ITI qualifications can apply for the Technician Grade 1 positions in Electrical and Mechanical trades. There are seven Electrical Technician and two Mechanical Technician vacancies.
The Technician posts carry Level 2 pay of Rs. 19,900–63,200.
The largest number of vacancies is available for Technical Attendant Grade 1, with 37 posts. Candidates need to have passed Matriculation or an equivalent examination. An ITI Trade Certificate of two years’ duration in Electrical or Mechanical is desirable.
The Technical Attendant post carries Level 1 pay of Rs. 18,000–56,900.
Assistant and Multi-Tasking Staff Posts
There are 29 Assistant Grade II vacancies. Applicants need a First Class degree in BA, B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BBM or BCA from a recognised university. They must also possess at least a Grade-B certificate in the Basic Computer Course (BCC) conducted by NIELIT by the closing date.
Assistant Grade II carries Level 4 pay of Rs. 25,500–81,100.
CPRI has also announced 14 Multi-Tasking Staff Grade 1 vacancies for Watch and Ward duties. Candidates need to have passed Matriculation or an equivalent examination. The maximum age for this post is 25 years.
