Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
Candidates must have completed their graduation not earlier than 1 January 2023 and not later than 1 September 2026, as specified in the recruitment notification.
Age Limit
The age of applicants should be between 20 and 28 years as on 1 September 2026. Candidates must have been born between 2 September 1998 and 1 September 2006, inclusive.
Age relaxation is available for reserved categories according to the applicable rules.

Local Language Requirement
Candidates applying for a particular State or Union Territory must meet the local language requirements mentioned for that location.
Candidates who have studied the specified local language in Class 10 or Class 12 and can provide the relevant marksheet or certificate will generally not need to appear for the local language test.
Other candidates may have to undergo a local language test during the document verification stage. Candidates who do not qualify in the required language test will not be engaged as apprentices.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a state-wise merit list prepared using the marks obtained in Class 12 or Diploma, as applicable under the recruitment rules.
The minimum percentage mentioned in the notification is 60% for general candidates and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. Percentages will not be rounded off. For example, a candidate with 59.99% will not be treated as having 60%.
If two candidates have the same percentage, the older candidate will receive higher ranking in the merit list. Candidates will also have to complete document verification and satisfy the local language requirements.
Selected candidates must also meet the medical fitness requirements prescribed by Canara Bank.
