SAMARTH Admission Portal 2026 helps Assam students apply online for college admission easily with merit-based selection process.

SAMARTH Admission Portal is a common online platform for Assam college admission. The Government of Assam introduced this system to make the admission process simple, fast, and transparent for students. From the academic session 2023–2024, all admissions for undergraduate and integrated postgraduate courses are done through this portal.

This portal is officially known as the Assam State Higher Education Admission Portal. It allows students to apply for multiple colleges and courses from one place without visiting campuses physically. For the 2026–2027 session, the system continues to support admissions into Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) and Five-Year Integrated Masters Programme (FYIMP).

What is SAMARTH Portal?

SAMARTH is a digital initiative launched by the Ministry of Education under the National Mission on Education through ICT. It provides a cloud-based system to manage admissions, academics, and student services.

Through this platform, colleges and universities in Assam can manage applications, merit lists, and admissions in a structured way. For students, it reduces paperwork and saves both time and money.

Assam Fee Waiver Scheme

It is applicable for courses like HS, BA, BSc, BCom, MA, MSc, and MCom. Students must apply through the SAMARTH portal to get this benefit.

How to Apply for SAMARTH Admission 2026

The application process is fully online. Students who have passed Higher Secondary (Class 12) must follow these steps:
