For cases involving partition of jointly owned property, the system ensures completion within 10 days. This is a major improvement compared to the earlier manual processes that often took weeks or months.

From Pilot Project to Statewide Rollout

The paperless registration system was first tested in Ladwa tehsil of Kurukshetra district in September 2025. After successful trials, it was expanded across the state from November 2025.

This gradual rollout allowed authorities to refine the system and address technical challenges. Now, the Haryana Auto Mutation System is fully operational across the state, benefiting thousands of users.

Reducing Backlogs and Improving Efficiency

Before the launch of this system, Haryana faced a large backlog of pending mutation cases. Nearly five lakh cases were waiting to be processed.

With the introduction of automation, the backlog has reduced significantly to around 50,000 cases within six months. During the trial phase alone, about 50,000 mutations were processed automatically.

This shows how digital tools can solve long-standing administrative challenges and improve service delivery.
