Purpose of the Bug Bounty Programme

Bug bounty programmes are widely used in the tech industry to improve security. Under this programme, ethical hackers and cybersecurity researchers will test UIDAI systems to find hidden risks. By allowing experts to check these platforms, UIDAI can fix problems before they are misused.

Platforms Covered Under the Programme

The programme includes important digital platforms such as the official UIDAI website, the myAadhaar portal, and the Secure QR Code application. These platforms are used for Aadhaar services and identity verification.

Security issues found will be divided into four categories: Critical, High, Medium, and Low. Rewards will be given based on how serious the problem is. This system encourages experts to focus on major risks.

Participation of Cybersecurity Experts

A group of twenty skilled ethical hackers and researchers has been selected for this programme. They will carefully test the systems and report issues through a proper and responsible process.

The initiative is being carried out with support from ComOlho IT Private Limited, which helps manage the programme and its operations.
