The Ministry of Home Affairs has received the AI-powered satellite imaging system Prajna to support real-time security operations. Developed by DRDO’s Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, this system uses artificial intelligence to monitor sensitive regions across India.
The system was handed over by DRDO Chairman Samir V. Kamat to Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan in New Delhi. Prajna is expected to improve decision-making, strengthen counter-terrorism efforts, and support law enforcement agencies with real-time data.
DRDO Prajna ADC150 Update: ADC-150 Strengthens Naval Supply Chain
The DRDO Prajna ADC150 Update also includes successful trials of the Air Droppable Container ADC-150 by the Indian Navy. The trials were conducted using the Boeing P-8I Neptune aircraft off the coast of Goa.
ADC-150 is designed to deliver up to 150 kg of essential supplies, including medical aid and emergency equipment, to naval ships operating far from shore. This system ensures quick response during emergencies at sea.

DRDO Prajna ADC150 Update: Collaboration Across DRDO Labs
Several DRDO laboratories contributed to the development of ADC-150. The Naval Science and Technological Laboratory led the project, while the Aerial Delivery Research and Development Establishment developed the parachute system.
Flight certification was handled by the Centre for Military Airworthiness and Certification, and support during trials came from the Defence Research and Development Laboratory. The system is likely to be inducted into service soon.
