The festival will be inaugurated by the Andhra Pradesh Minister for Tourism and Culture, Shri Kandula Durgesh, in the presence of elected representatives, senior officials and cultural leaders. The event promises to bring together musicians, scholars, artisans and music lovers under one platform, celebrating the artistic richness of Andhra Pradesh.

This year’s theme focuses on strengthening the cultural roots of the region. It aims to honor Telugu musical traditions, support local artisans, encourage young talent and bring national attention to Vijayawada’s growing importance in the cultural landscape. The festival also highlights the role of arts in strengthening communities and showcasing centuries-old musical expressions.
The initiative also seeks to highlight the contributions of weavers, craftsmen and traditional artists who form the backbone of Andhra Pradesh’s cultural identity. By providing a platform for them, the festival continues to promote livelihood opportunities and cultural pride.
Krishnaveni Sangeetha Fest: Concerts, Artists and Venues
One of the main attractions of the festival is the impressive lineup of 18 concerts featuring 98 artists, scheduled over two days. These performances will bring together both renowned musicians and rising talents, offering audiences a diverse and enriching musical experience.
The primary venue for the concerts, Tummalapallivari Kshetrayya Kalakshetram, has been carefully chosen for its acoustics and cultural significance. The hall is expected to witness powerful Carnatic performances, soulful compositions and traditional Telugu music presented with exceptional artistry.
A special highlight of the fest will be the Pancharatna Kritis offering at Durga Ghat on the morning of 7 December. This dawn program will be led by the famous Malladi Brothers, who will be accompanied by faculty and students from government music colleges of Vijayawada and Guntur. The serene riverside setting combined with devotional music is expected to create an unforgettable spiritual atmosphere.
Krishnaveni Sangeetha Fest: Prequel Concerts Across Temple Towns
To expand cultural participation and reach more audiences across Andhra Pradesh, the festival organizers conducted three prequel concerts at prominent temple venues. These performances brought together classical music, spiritual devotion and traditional settings, creating strong cultural resonance.
The first prequel event was held at Srikalahasti on 29 November, followed by Simhachalam on 1 December, and Srisailam on 2 December 2025. Each venue was carefully selected for its deep religious and historical significance. These concerts celebrated the devotional side of Telugu musical heritage and built anticipation for the main event in Vijayawada.
Through these statewide performances, the festival ensured that music enthusiasts beyond the main venue also had the opportunity to experience traditional compositions, soulful ragas and the artistic brilliance of leading musicians.
Krishnaveni Sangeetha Fest: Craft Exhibitions and Cultural Showcases
Another important element of the festival is the curated craft exhibition that aims to spotlight the cultural wealth of Andhra Pradesh. The exhibition will feature GI-tagged crafts, traditional art forms and handloom specialties, bringing several artisan communities into the limelight.

Visitors will get the chance to explore iconic crafts such as:
- Kondapalli toys, known for their vibrant wooden artistry
