A Major Boost for Startups

The T-Nest Innovation Hub Agartala has been designed as a central platform to support startups and entrepreneurs across the state. The hub will connect government departments, educational institutions, industry leaders and investors to build a strong startup network.

Startups at the hub will receive incubation support, mentorship, networking opportunities and guidance to access funding. These facilities are expected to help new businesses grow faster and turn innovative ideas into successful enterprises.

The initiative also promotes the idea of “Make from Tripura”, encouraging local innovators to create products and solutions from within the state and expand them to larger markets.

Strengthening the Northeast’s Innovation Landscape

During the inauguration, Dr. Jitendra Singh highlighted the increasing importance of the Northeast region in India’s development journey. According to him, improved rail, road and air connectivity has made the region more accessible for trade, tourism and economic activities.

The T-Nest Innovation Hub Agartala is part of broader efforts to unlock the innovation potential of the Northeast and integrate the region more strongly with the country’s economic growth.

By creating a supportive environment for startups, the hub is expected to inspire young entrepreneurs and innovators across Tripura.

Partnership with T-Hub

A key highlight of the initiative is the collaboration with T-Hub, one of India’s leading innovation and startup incubators. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed to enable knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Through this partnership, startups from Tripura will gain access to mentorship networks, advanced incubation models and wider business connections. The collaboration will also help local entrepreneurs connect with national and global startup ecosystems.
