Ayush Healthcare Services for All

A key attraction of the National Arogya Fair 2026 is the wide range of free Ayush healthcare services available to citizens. Visitors will be able to access free health check ups, medical consultations and medicines under different Ayush systems. These include Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa Rigpa and Homoeopathy.

Live therapy counters will allow people to experience traditional treatments under expert supervision. Yoga demonstrations and guided practice sessions will help visitors understand the role of daily physical and mental discipline in staying healthy. Expert lectures and interactive discussions will focus on preventive healthcare, lifestyle improvement and natural healing methods that can be followed at home.

Celebrating India’s Traditional Medical Heritage

The fair will feature separate and dedicated stalls for each Ayush stream under the Ministry. This arrangement allows visitors to explore India’s diverse medical heritage in one place. From ancient Ayurvedic principles to the lesser known Sowa Rigpa system, the event presents a complete picture of traditional Indian and Himalayan healing knowledge.

Sowa Rigpa, a traditional Tibetan system of medicine recognised in India, will receive special attention. Its focus on balance, diet and natural remedies adds another dimension to the holistic approach promoted by the National Arogya Fair 2026.

Exhibitions and Industry Participation

The National Arogya Fair 2026 will also host thematic exhibitions on medicinal plants, home based remedies and wellness practices. These exhibitions aim to educate the public about the sources of traditional medicines and the importance of quality and safety.

Leading Ayush pharmaceutical and wellness companies will participate in the event. They will showcase good manufacturing practices, quality standards and recent research developments. This industry participation helps build trust among citizens and encourages the use of evidence based traditional medicine. It also offers a valuable platform for interaction between practitioners, researchers, manufacturers and consumers.

Strong Focus on Medicinal Plant Cultivation

One of the most important aspects of the National Arogya Fair 2026 is its strong focus on farmers and medicinal plant cultivation. A special programme on “Ayurvedic Farming, Production and Marketing” will be organised on 27 February 2026. Farmers from Buldhana and nearby districts are expected to benefit greatly from this initiative.

Experts will guide farmers on scientific cultivation techniques for medicinal plants, processing methods, value addition and market access. The programme will also promote agroforestry, which combines trees and crops to improve farm income while protecting the environment. By encouraging farmers to grow medicinal and forest based crops, the fair supports both economic growth and ecological balance.

Health and Livelihood Working Together

The vision behind the National Arogya Fair 2026 is built on twin objectives. The first is to expand access to quality Ayush healthcare services for citizens across different regions. The second is to improve the economic well being of farmers through medicinal plant based agriculture and related activities.

Farmers are encouraged to allocate a portion of their land to medicinal crops as a source of sustainable income. At the same time, citizens gain access to affordable and preventive healthcare options rooted in traditional knowledge. This balanced approach ensures that health and livelihood goals move forward together.

A National Platform for Public Participation

The National Arogya Fair 2026 invites citizens, students, self help groups, health volunteers and practitioners from Maharashtra and neighbouring states to participate actively. The event is designed as a people friendly platform where learning, experience and interaction come together.

By bringing traditional healthcare systems into the public space, the fair strengthens awareness, builds confidence in Ayush practices and supports India’s journey towards holistic health and sustainable rural development.
