RSETIs work through a strong partnership between banks and the government. Each district has one RSETI, usually managed by the lead bank of that area. This system ensures proper funding, smooth operations, and easy access to loans for trainees.

Training Programs Under RSETIs Boost Rural Skills Entrepreneurship

The institutes offer short-term, practical training programs for people aged 18 to 50 years. There are 73 courses available under the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF). These courses cover sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, services, and small business development.

Currently, 632 RSETIs are working across 619 districts in 33 States and Union Territories with support from 25 banks. These institutes also provide post-training support such as guidance and credit linkage. The certificates given by RSETIs are accepted by banks, making it easier for trainees to get loans and start their own businesses.
