Key Role at Raisina Dialogue

At the Raisina Dialogue, President Alexander Stubb will deliver the keynote address. The annual conference brings together global leaders, policymakers, experts, and business executives to discuss major international issues. His presence reflects Finland’s intention to strengthen strategic cooperation with India.

India and Finland share democratic values and support a rules-based global order. Finland is an important partner for India within the European Union and the Nordic region. The visit aims to boost cooperation in multilateral forums and increase people-to-people connections.

The visit follows Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo’s recent trip to India for the AI Impact Summit in February 2026. This back-to-back engagement signals strong and steady diplomatic ties between the two nations.
